A wife, mother, minister, daughter, sister, and mentor are only a few of the titles she holds. Vanessa has had a long history of mentoring girls ages 5 to 22. She has always been the go-to caregiver known to be trustworthy and reliable for many families through the years. Vanessa’s heart for children has always been undeniable. Vanessa has worked in her local children’s church and within the Life School district with middle and high school students.

Vanessa by no means had an easy childhood. She’s had to heal from a lot of hurts, in turn she has also had to learn to take full responsibility of any actions that hurt others in return. If it had not been for certain people who God placed in Vanessas life to help mentor, care for, and guide her she would not be where she is today. These challenges are the motivation and drive behind why Treasures of My Heart is a passion of hers.

Vanessa married her husband Anthony McClure December of 2017. They had their son Elijah in September of 2018. Due to her husband being in the military service Vanessa spent 2017-2019 living in multiple states. God saw fit to send the McClure’s back to the Dallas/Fort Worth area December 2019 where Anthony & Vanessa have been since. Anthony is now a Navy Veteran, and they just welcomed their baby girl Serenity in September of 2021.
